Czech couple charged with murder committed ten years ago

Police have filed murder charges against a man and a woman on suspicion of having killed a man from Slovakia near Jindrichuv Hradec ten years ago, who was found dead in a barrel in 2021, South Bohemia police spokesman Jiri Matzner told journalists on Friday. The perpetrators dug up the body in a barrel under the ground and poured concrete on it. Detectives detained the couple on Thursday. Now the man is facing murder charges and the woman complicity charges. If convicted, they can be sentenced to ten up to 18 years in prison, Matzner said.
