Czech Central Crisis Staff set up over epidemic ends work

The Central Crisis Staff (UKS), established in the Czech Republic to contain the coronavirus epidemic, concluded its work on Thursday, its head, Deputy PM and Interior Minister Jan Hamacek (junior government Social Democrats (CSSD), told reporters. The staff was established three days after a state of emergency had been called over the coronavirus pandemic outbreak on March 12.
