The Czech anthem was played at the Sudeten German Landsmannschaft (SL) congress for the first time today during the event held in Bavarian Hof. Bavarian Minister-President Markus Soder, whose federal land took a patronage of the Sudeten German transferred from Czechoslovakia after WWII, called this an important symbol of the fact that Czechs and Germans are no longer enemies. He also said he would visit Prague in July and that Sudeten Germans would deserve the Nobel Peace Prize.
