Czech air force's Gripen fighter stays in Lithuania over defect

One of the five Czech military's Gripen fighters returning from the air-policing Baltic mission at the Amari base in Estonia to Caslav has a technical defect due to which it had to stay in Lithuania, Caslav base commander Petr Tomanek told reporters today. The defect was uncovered during a planned refuelling at the Siauliai airport in Lithuania, Tomanek said.
