Crime rate in Czechia dropped again in 2021 - police statistics

The crime rate dropped in Czech Republic interannually again last year when police registered 153,233 criminal offences, 7 percent fewer than in 2020, while the clearance rate increased by 1 percent to 57.3 percent, Police headquarters spokesman Ondrej Moravcik said in a press release today. Last year, the police registered 105 murders, five of which have not been cleared up yet.
