The novel coronavirus infection is spreading twice as fast as last week in the Czech Republic where 3,246 new cases were confirmed on Tuesday, 1,739 more than a week ago and the highest daily rise since April 20, the Health Ministry announced on its website this morning. The number of the COVID hospitalised is on the rise, too, increasing by two-fifths to 620 since last Tuesday, and about 100 of them are in a serious condition.
