There were another 116 COVID cases in the Czech Republic on Sunday, 31 fewer than a week ago, according to the data the Health Ministry released this morning. The reproduction number R, which stands for the average number of those infected by one person with COVID, has diminished to 0.96 from 1.11 one day before. Since the start of the epidemic, 1.671 million Czechs have contracted the infection and 98 percent of whom have recovered. The death toll now stands at 30,338.
