COVID spread sky-rocketing in Czech Republic

The number of new confirmed COVID cases soared to 20,270 in the Czech Republic on Monday, which was 13,000 more than a week ago, according to the data the Health Ministry released on its website today. Before, such an increase occurred in early December, 2021. The incidence rate surged, too. Now there are 799 newly infected per 100,000 population, 121 more than a day before.
