COVID spread reaches another record in Czech Republic

November 26th, 2021

There was a record high number of 27,717 new confirmed COVID cases in the Czech Republic on Thursday, another daily maximum since the start of the epidemic, and over 6,000 are hospitalised with the infection now, the Health Ministry's data released this morning show. Statistics have seen a record growth in the coronavirus infection cases three times in the past week. For the first time on November 19, when tests uncovered almost 23,000 cases, then on Tuesday 25,900 cases and for the third time on Thursday.
