Covid spread picking up again in Czechia

August 17th, 2022

Czechia confirmed another 2,803 Covid cases on Tuesday, up by several hundred in the weekly comparison, the Health Ministry said. The incidence rate, or the number of new confirmed Covid cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days, has increased, too. Since mid-July it was continually falling. Hospitals are treating around 1,000 Covid patients.
