Czechia confirmed 1,534 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, the highest daily rise this week and some 550 more than a week ago, while the number of the hospitalised with coronavirus rose to 448, about 80 of whom were in a serious condition, the Health Ministry announced on its website this morning. The COVID incidence rate or the number of the infected per 100,000 population in the past seven days rose by five to 74 since Thursday.
