COVID rising in Czechia, hospitalisations declining for now

Czechia saw 2,761 new COVID cases on Sunday, 800 more than a week ago, the epidemic rising for seven days but the hospitalisations still decreasing for now, Sunday's 2,229 being the lowest number since early November and 670 fewer than last Sunday, the Health Ministry's data show. Out of the COVID patients in hospital, 420 are in serious condition.
