COVID incidence declining in Czechia

Czechia saw 107 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, although the figures were influenced by the public holiday where the number of tests is also lower, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday. The reproduction number, showing the average number of infections from one covid patient, has dropped to 1.08. As long as the reproduction number is above 1.00, the epidemic is accelerating, the ministry said.
