The Czech Republic saw 11,514 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Monday, some 2,250 more than a week ago, and the incidence rate rose from 718 to 739 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days, Health Ministry spokesman Daniel Koppl told CTK this morning. The numbers of coronavirus patients in Czech hospitals have been considerably rising. On Monday, almost 4,300 of them were hospitalised, 900 more than a week ago and the highest figure since mid-April, and 635 had a serious condition of the disease, show the data that the Health Ministry released on its website today.
