Czechia saw 235 new confirmed coronavirus cases on Wednesday, 25 fewer than a week ago, and the reproduction number R, standing for the average number of those infected by one person with COVID, show the data the Health Ministry released this morning. The number of new cases has been lower in a week-on-week comparison for the fourth day in a row. Since the epidemic outbreak last March, over 1.672 million Czechs have contracted the infection, 98 percent of whom have recovered. The death toll now stands at 30,347.
