March 30th, 2021
A total of 10 districts will be coloured black in the COVID-automaton as of next Monday (April 5), while 52 districts will be in dark red and 17 in medium red, the Health Ministry announced on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Slovakia as a whole is black. "The reason is that the number of people admitted to hospitals with COVID-19 hasn't dropped below 3,000," explained the Health Ministry's State Secretary Peter Stachura. However, other indicators have improved and, therefore, Stachura didn't rule out that the country might get to a better, dark red colour next week.
