Covid-19 risk score remains at 57 for third day in Czech Republic

The Covid-19 risk index in the Czech Republic has remained a 57 points for the third day in a row, which corresponds to the third degree on the five-degree scale. The country on Tuesday registered 5,854 cases, 1,600 more than on the national holiday a week ago, data released by the Health Ministry data show. The total number of the coronavirus infections has exceeded 500,000 in the Czech Republic with a population of 10.7 million since the epidemic outbreak in March. Compared to Monday, the daily rise was higher by some 1,500 cases on Tuesday. The number of active infections stands at 78,203 and 7,499 patients with Covid-19 have died so far.
