Covid-19 kills 231 Polish doctors, 185 nurses says health ministry

The coronavirus epidemic has led to the deaths of 231 Polish doctors and 185 nurses, the Health Ministry's data show. From the start of the epidemic in the spring of 2020, 29,433 Polish doctors, 72,410 nurses, 11,094 physiotherapists, 7,207 midwives, 3,630 pharmacists, 3,628 paramedics, 3,281 dentists and 2,548 lab technicians have been infected with Covid-19. Along with the hundreds of doctors and nurses, the disease has also killed 22 midwives, 50 dentists, 19 pharmacists, six paramedics, six lab technicians and five physiotherapists.
