COVID-19 daily rise in Czechia under 3,000 again

The Czech Republic saw 2,932 new confirmed coronavirus cases on Wednesday, which was the third highest daily rise since March, while 36,619 are currently infected with COVID-19, according to the data the Health Ministry released on its website this morning. The ministry published the total Wednesday data on its web with a delay due to a technical error. They are usually available in the small hours. Since the epidemic outbreak in the Czech Republic on March 1, more than 70,000 have got infected with the novel coronavirus, while 33,557 have recovered and 658 patients with COVID-19 have died. Most COVID-19-infected have a mild course of the disease.
