Court upholds 20-year prison term for joining fights in Ukraine

The appeals Prague High Court today upheld the sentence of 20 years in prison for terrorism given to Czech national Pavel Botka, 41, who he had participated in the fighting in eastern Ukraine on behalf of separatists, the court has announced. It dismissed his appeal and found Botka guilty of a terrorist attack and activities within a terrorist group. The man was prosecuted as fugitive.
