A court will deal with the case of former Czech Prime Minister Petr Necas, charged with perjury, in public proceedings, as the state attorney has filed a protest against the penal order finding Necas guilty without a trial, Prague 1 District Court spokeswoman Pavla Hajkova told CTK. This means that the penal order is cancelled and a trial of Necas will take place, she said. The penal order imposed a one-year suspended sentence and a fine of 100,000 crowns on Necas, the state attorney, Jan Lelek, has told CTK.
