Court begins insolvency hearing with Krupa - website

The Prague Municipal Court started insolvency proceedings against Slovak entrepreneur Pavol Krupa based on a complaint by billionaire Zdenek Bakala who wants Krupa to pay him 777 billion crowns (EUR 31.7bn) as ordered by a US court for Kupa's blackmail campaign against Bakala, news portal Seznam Zpravy has said. In late September last year, the US Federal Court in South Carolina ruled that Krupa must pay more than 32.4 million dollars to Bakala for the blackmailing campaign.
