The Prague High Court has not admitted the extradition of Russian Alexander Franchetti to Ukraine, citing the current war situation and saying that the extradition would pose the risk of his human rights being violated, Adam Wenig, spokesman for the Prague Municipal Court, told CTK today. Ukraine seeks Franchetti's extradition over his alleged assistance in the Russian annexation of Crimea. The Czech law enforcement bodies, too, have been prosecuting Franchetti over this suspicion.
