The Council of Prosecutors is not taking part in sessions of the working group set up to restore public trust in the rule of law, Dalibor Skladan, the spokesman of the prosecutor general, told TASR on Thursday. Skladan explained that the council isn't attending the sessions in view of its rights stemming from the law on prosecutors. The formation of the group was announced last week following a session of the Security Council, which was convened by the prime minister after four National Crime Agency (NAKA) investigators and acting head of the Internal Affairs Inspectorate were detained and charged with misusing their powers and obstructing justice.
