Coronavirus spread hits new record high in Czech Republic

The number of new coronavirus cases hit a new record of 3,493 in the Czech Republic on Thursday, the Health Ministry said. Now there are 39,391 infected and 1,028 hospitalised patients, 198 of whom are in a serious condition. In all, there have been 74,255 coronavirus cases and 678 Covid-19-related deaths in the country with another 12 deaths on Thursday alone.
