Coronavirus resurge accelerating in Czech Republic

The Czech Republic registered another 6,274 Covid cases on Tuesday, almost twice as many as a week ago, and for the first time since April, the number is now over 6,000, according to data released by the health ministry. Hospitals are treating 1,146 coronavirus patients, 166 of whom are in a serious condition, similar to Monday. There were 246 infected per 100,000 people in the past seven days. The incidence rate has increased by 29 since Tuesday.
