Coronavirus not confirmed in Brazilian woman in Prague hospital

The coronavirus infection has not been confirmed in the case of a Brazilian woman in Prague's Na Bulovce Hospital, Kristyna Herrmannova, from the hospital's Parasitology and Tropical Disease Clinic, told reporters on Monday. The woman was placed in isolation at a common ward and was not sent to a special box for highly contagious diseases, she said. Another patient hospitalised last Friday was tested for coronavirus with negative results, she added. The ill woman, from Brazil, had been travelling across Southeast Asia. The regional epidemiologist will decide whether she will stay in quarantine in the Prague hospital, Herrmannova said.
