The government's introducing tighter restrictions concerning the novel coronavirus epidemic as early as in the next few days "cannot be excluded", the head of the Prime Minister's Office told his regular press briefing on Thursday. Gergely Gulyas said that the number of Covid-19 cases was falling in Hungary, but added that "it is not so" in neighbouring countries, where increasing numbers are "worrying". He said that the number of cases in Croatia had increased from 87 to 934 since June 22, while similar tendencies were seen in Slovenia, Serbia, Slovakia and Austria, too.
