Altogether 214 patients died of a Covid-related illness over the weekend, while 17,834 new coronavirus infections were registered, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Monday. So far 5,974,514 people have received a first jab, while 5,754,475 have been fully vaccinated. Fully 1,369,000 Hungarians have received a booster jab. The number of active infections stands at 68,586, while hospitals are treating 3,980 Covid patients, 334 of whom need respiratory assistance.
