Convicted Czech ex-MP hiding in Paraguay

Petr Wolf, a former Czech Social Democrat (CSSD) lawmaker convicted for vast subsidy fraud and missing since 2013, is hiding in Paraguay and has not been arrested yet, Czech Television (CT) said on Friday, citing police investigators. In the early 2010, Wolf was sentenced to six years in prison for a fraud involving environment ministry subsidies, but he never turned up in prison to serve his term.
