May 14th, 2020

Consumer prices increased by 2.1 percent year-on-year (y-o-y) in April, remaining unchanged month-on-month, the Statistics Office reported on Thursday. According to the Statistics Office, calculations for the consumer price index in April were significantly affected by the coronavirus situation. The usual price surveys were made more difficult by the closure of outlets and cancellation of field surveys.
