Constitutional Tribunal ruling confirms primacy of constitution says PM

Poland's prime minister has said that Thursday's ruling by the Constitutional Tribunal on the primacy of the Polish constitution over EU law confirms the constitution as the supreme source of law in Poland. The Tribunal ruled that several articles of the EU Treaties do not comply with the Polish constitution, calling into question the primacy of European Union law over national legislation.
