Const.Court head praises anti-government protests

Constitutional Court (US) chairman Pavel Rychetsky praised the organisers of street protests against new Justice Minister Marie Benesova for defending the independence of the judiciary, although Czech court heads do not usually comment on political affairs, Josef Koukal says in daily Pravo today. Rychetsky has recently left the reserved position that US heads traditionally had.
