Confirmed Hungary cases rise 1.5 times in single week, says medical officer

The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Hungary has risen 1.5 times in a single week, with 7,420 people infected, the chief medical officer told a news conference on Wednesday. Fully 80 percent of Hungarian localities have registered an infection, Cecilia Muller said, adding that this did not mean the remainder were unaffected.
