Confidence among entrepreneurs slightly exceeds pre-pandemic level in September

Confidence among Slovak entrepreneurs slightly exceeded the pre-pandemic level in September, the Statistics Office reported on Wednesday. Although the epidemiological situation continued to worsen and measures continued to tighten up in September, the economic sentiment in Slovakia was a bit more optimistic than last month and much more optimistic than a year ago. Confidence significantly increased among entrepreneurs engaged in the construction sector and slightly in industry and services. Meanwhile, it went slightly down in trade and among consumers.
