Communist hardliner Skala running for Czech president

The Communists (KSCM) have proposed as their presidential candidate Josef Skala, the head of the party's Prague branch and a former deputy chairman, Communist leader Katerina Konecna said in a press release today. If you are not a billionaire or embezzler, this is the best choice, Konecna said. The Communists were choosing between Skala and former party leader Vojtech Filip. Skala told CTK today that he wanted to address a broad spectrum of voters.
