Comic, poet, singer Jan Vodnansky dies of coronavirus

Czech comic, poet and singer Jan Vodnansky, who signed the dissident Charter 77 human rights manifesto in 1977, died of COVID-19 at the age of 79 on Wednesday, his son Tomas told CTK today. The son said on Facebook that his father tested positive for the novel coronavirus on the day when he was to be vaccinated against the disease.
