Comenius University awards Albert II, Prince of Monaco honorary doctorate

Comenius University in Bratislava awarded on Monday on the proposal of its Faculty of Natural Sciences a honorary "doctor honoris causa" doctorate to Albert II, Prince of Monaco for his activities in the fields of environment protection and cultural heritage and for eliminating the consequences of climate change. The monarch set up in 2006 the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation with the primary objective of supporting science and education concerning the environment. It has already allocated more than ?55 million for various projects.
