Coalition of Pirates, STAN leading in poll

PM Andrej Babis's ANO has lost the leading position in polls, being replaced with the coalition of the Pirates and the Mayors and Independents (STAN) that would win elections with 27.5 percent of the vote, shows a March poll of the Median polling institute released today. The situation around the COVID pandemic has started to influence the position of the coalition parties considerably, the analysts said. The opposition coalition Together, created by the Civic Democratic Party (ODS), the Christian Democrats (KDU-CSL) and TOP 09, would gain 17.5 percent of votes in March.
