Close to 50 percent of Poles disapprove of Catholic Church's work

Almost 50 percent of Poles have a dim view of the activities of the Catholic Church, according to a new opinion poll. The CBOS poll found 46 percent of all respondents had a negative opinion of the Church, despite its revered position in Polish society, up 4 percentage points from January 2020. At the same time the number of those who believe the Church is doing a good job, fell by 3 percentage points to 43 percent.
