City of Bratislava asks president not to sign anti-inflation package

The City of Bratislava rejects the anti-inflation aid package approved by Parliament, according to a statement acknowledged by the City Council at its meeting on Thursday. The municipality has asked President Zuzana Caputova not to sign the new law, and it called on the Government to consult the proposal with local governments before re-debating it. The Slovak capital stated that the anti-inflation package is to be financed by a fundamental limiting of services and infrastructure development in towns and villages.
