The Christian Union (KU) is not and has never laid down the condition that personnel changes in the Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) leadership are required for it to cooperate with KDH, KU leaders said following the European Parliament elections in connection with the general election in 2020. "This week we're launching the first round of talks with several Christian politicians on merging Christian forces for the general election," said KU leader Anna Zaborska. Branislav Skripek, one of KU's MEP candidates, believes that the party's result in the EP elections (3.85 percent) is a sign that the Christian Union project has a future.
