Chinese embassy denies espionage charges

The annual report of the Czech Security Information Service (BIS counter-intelligence) for 2018 only repeats its previous statements, but they are not corroborated by any evidence, the spokesman for the Embassy of China told journalists today. According to BIS, Chinese secret services, along with the Russian ones, are among the most active ones in the Czech Republic. Instead of issuing reports "based on one-sided speculations," the BIS should pay more attention to creating Czech-Chinese confidence, the embassy said.
