China scraps ban on Slovak poultry exports

Chinese customs authorities announced the cancellation of a ban on imports of Slovak and Czech poultry on Monday (November 4) after learning that there are no cases of avian influenza (bird flu) in Slovakia, TASR was told by the State Veterinary and Food Administration (SVPS) on Tuesday. The ban, in effect since 2016, was scrapped on October 31, 2019. The announcement has been published on the website of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC).
