The Chinese Embassy in Prague has asked the Czech Republic not to interfere in China's internal affairs, including Hong Kong, on its website in reaction to Czech diplomacy's statement expressing concern about some MPs' expulsion from the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. On Monday, the Foreign Ministry expressed a deep concern about the recent expulsion of some pro-democratic MPs from the 70-member Legislative Council of Hong Kong and said it considered Beijing's decision an attack on Hong Kong's autonomy, political pluralism and the freedom guaranteed by the "one country, two systems" principle. The Chinese Embassy says that no country, including the Czech Republic, would turn a blind eye to the officials, including deputies and senators, who had violated their oaths and betrayed their country.
