Chief public health officer to modify PES epidemic system

New Czech chief public health officer Pavla Svrcinova will prepare modifications of the PES epidemic system by next week, including clear criteria for the lockdown relaxation, Deputy PM and Interior Jan Hamacek, head of the Central Crisis Staff (UKS), said after the UKS meeting today. The coalition cabinet of PM Andrej Babis's ANO and the CSSD will debate the anti-COVID measures to be valid after March 21, but no significant changes can be expected, Hamacek (Social Democrats, CSSD) also told reporters. The government introduced tightened restrictions on March 1 for three weeks at least.
