The financing of the Czech-Chinese business forums that took place at Prague's Charles University (UK) continues to be unclear, but the UK did not accept money from China, according to the results of an audit presented to the UK's Academic Senate by rector Tomas Zima on Friday. The audit did not answer the questions surrounding the use of the funds the business forums are said to have received from China. Earlier, the UK's leadership asked the police to investigate the situation on suspicion of fraud. News portal Aktualne.cz reported previously that the Chinese embassy sent money to a company founded by former UK Czech-Chinese Centre secretary Milos Balaban.
