Cerny's Pink Tank to appear in Stockholm as symbol of freedom

A Soviet army tank repainted pink by Czech artist David Cerny will appear in Stockholm next week to commemorate the Czechoslovak Velvet Revolution's 30th anniversary as part of the Democracy in Action exhibition, Czech Centres spokeswoman Petra Jungwirthova told CTK on Wednesday. Czech Foreign Minister Tomas Petricek and Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom will take part in the opening of the exhibition on September 9.
