Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) has every reason to be an engine of growth for Europe, said US Ambassador to Poland Georgette Mosbacher during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Mosbacher told PAP that international investors will go wherever they see opportunities and that, at this point, the CEE had was poised to be a driving force for growth in Europe as a whole. She added that investors would be interested in a presence in the region as long as it was business-friendly and legal regulations encouraged companies to invest.
