The Prague 1 district court will have to reopen the trial of three former members of the Communist StB secret service over abuse of power in the case in which a dissident family was forced by constant coercion out of the country under the Communist regime, judicial portal infosoud has said. The three defendants, Milan Kopinec, Vladimir Novotny and Karel Vykypel, have pleaded not guilty since the start of the trial. According to the indictment, the former StB officers were tasked to force dissident Martin Hybler and his wife Ivanka Hyblerova into emigration, in which they succeeded.
